Hi! I’m Bianca, and I’m so glad you stopped by!
In a nutshell, I am a mama to two littles, including an Irish setter and a golden retriever fur-baby, and I’m married to my college sweetheart. I have been a photographer since the 110 film days, but picked up a much much better camera after my daughter was born and haven’t been able to put it down since.
This is me in action, inside! I always knew I smiled when looking through my viewfinder. Thanks to one of my photography besties, Amy Miller of Big Woods Creative for the proof!
Like most people who are lucky to call Montana home, I live for the weekends when I can get out and enjoy our amazing outdoor playground. I know I might be biased, but I think I might just live in one of the most scenic recreational areas in the west.
I love spicy food in general, and could seriously eat Mexican food every single day. Especially if it is covered in a sauce made with home grown tomatillos.
The weeks between Thanksgiving and New Years are my favorites. I love everything about the holiday season – the decorations, the music, and the fact that snow is starting to set up for some great skiing and I usually have a few days off to enjoy it! I love this time so much in fact that I did a my first family Day In the Life on Black Friday. Check it out HERE.
Sunshine, dark chocolate, strong coffee, running, skiing, a canine adventuring companion and warm socks are things I can’t live without, with emphasis on the warm socks part. Deep down I love having warm feet, which is often a challenge ten out of twelve months where I live!
My favorite time of day with my kids is bedtime. I know I sound like a horrible parent when I say that, but I love sitting tubside as they splish splash away. And each night after a book or two, I ask them to tell me the story of their day. I enjoy hearing their stories as it gives me a little insight to the things that matter most to them, and how their day went even when I’m not around…
I love documenting real moments and the small details of life indoors, but especially love the vast landscapes and stories of our life outdoors. My family lives outside most of the year and since moving to this part of the world about eight years ago, it has been my passion to capture all the details, big and small, of my family’s outdoor adventures.
